His recent remarks linking Ebola fears to political issues have attracted even more criticism, with opponents accusing him of spreading fear and misinformation.
Many Kenyans now believe that the country needs leaders who unite people around solutions to economic challenges, unemployment, healthcare, and education rather than leaders who build support through ethnic divisions. Critics argue that Kenya’s strength lies in its diversity and unity, not in politics that separate communities from one another.
