Rigathi Gachagua is the most clueless and incompetent politician of our time. For a man who once held the second most powerful office in the land, one would expect clarity, vision, and solutions. Instead, Gachagua has reduced himself to a noisy commentator, jumping from one interview to another without offering a single concrete idea to address the real struggles Kenyans face.
He has sat in almost a hundred interviews since his impeachment, and what has he told us? Nothing. No roadmap for stabilizing the economy. No ideas for rescuing agriculture. No policy thoughts on fixing our collapsing education system. Not even a plan for tackling the ballooning cost of living. Just empty words, repeated grievances, and a tired slogan—Wantam—as if chanting the President out of office is a development agenda.
But here’s the problem: Gachagua doesn’t tell us what he would do differently. What policies would he advance to lower food prices? How would he fix farmers’ woes? What reforms would he push in healthcare or education? On these critical questions, he remains blank. A man who once branded himself “the son of Mau Mau” has now become “the master of complaints,” hoping anger alone can substitute for leadership.
Kenyans deserve leaders who present solutions, not just noise. Leadership is not about showing up on TV with dramatic soundbites. It is about guiding people with a clear vision and concrete ideas. Until Gachagua can show what he stands for beyond bitterness and “Wantam” rallies, he will remain exactly what he is today—clueless, incompetent, and politically empty.
The truth is simple: a man with no answers cannot be the answer for Kenya.
