Rigathi Gachagua did not rise in politics by helping people or uniting Kenyans. Instead, he used tribal language, played the victim, and made alliances only when it suited him. As Deputy President, he had the chance to bring people together — but he chose to divide them and act like he alone could speak for Mt. Kenya.
Instead of delivering results, Gachagua spent his time attacking others, threatening leaders, and creating enemies. His style of leadership has been loud, selfish, and full of drama. He has no major development to show, no new ideas, just a lot of noise and blame.
He often calls himself “a son Mau Mau,” but that’s just a story to get sympathy. The truth is, Gachagua’s main goal has always been power for himself, not progress for the people. He hasn’t helped fix the real problems in Mt. Kenya — like poor roads, jobless youth, or struggling farmers.
Now, he is trying to rebuild his image using the Itungati group, pretending to care about the community. But people are beginning to see through it. Empty tribal talk cannot hide a record of poor leadership and failed promises.
Gachagua’s politics are based on dividing Kenyans. That is his survival trick. But Kenya needs leaders who bring people together, work hard, and deliver — not those who cause fights just to stay in the news.
